Reposting for Lynne Terris Hello Bird Lovers, We saw the Eurasian Wigeon today around noon in the bay between B and C -along with a number of American Wigeons. Also, the Great Horned Owl was in the large birch tree on the way to the bay.
Directions: In Toronto, the Leslie St Spit is located at the foot of Leslie Street, in Tom Thompson Park. Walk to the red bridge, and once on the other side, take the first path on the right. Pass the picnic table and follow the path to a clearing. The Great Horned was in the largest birch tree closest to the water on the right. Then walk West to the bay for the Eurasian.
