The first (unofficial) Linwood CBC was held December 28.  8 Observers
braved the 8 degree weather (!) and found 43 species, plus at least 1
count week species to date.

Highlights included:
1 Hooded Merganser
5 Turkey Vultures (near the town of Wallenstein, around for over a week)

96 Rough-legged Hawks
34 American Kestrels
1 Red-bellied Woodpecker
1 Song Sparrow
1 Swamp Sparrow
1 Lincoln's Sparrow (below the dam of the Conestoga Reservoir)
2 White-throated Sparrows

The Linwood area is just northwest of Waterloo.  For better directions
