2 Dunlin were still in the warm water creek flowing out of Lake Erie Steel, a division of Stelco today. The birds were up the creek a little ways and were viewed from Lakeshore Rd. along the stream bank. 3 were here on the Woodhouse CBC and the other may not be far away alone with a possible Killdeer. Lake Erie is freezing so other birds may soon concentrate at this location. The creek may be found at the SW corner of the steel company property which is west of the village of Nanticoke. The road comes south alone the east side of the steel company and swings west at the south end of the property. Go to the west side of the security fence beside the road. The creek is just past where the security fence swings north away from the road.
