I am not aware of what cowbirds have over Wiarton Willie, but we had 2 female Brown Headed Cowbirds at the feeder yesterday morning for about 15 minutes. They have not been back this morning. Last year, the date we recorded a pair of Cowbirds was Feb 21. Other birds still here are 4 white throated sparrows, 3 red bellied woodpeckers and the redpoll flock is between 6 and 12 depending on the time of day.
