Hello again After and during our water fowling this morning we stopped at the Hendrie Valley in Burlington and we fortunate in that we found a Fox Sparrow, a Brown Thrasher, a Winter Wren, a Gray Catbird, 8 White-throated Sparrows and 24 Northern Cardinals.
All of the above birds with the exception of 5 Cardinals were along the boardwalk and the Thrasher was just before the start of the boardwalk, look for a stump with bird seed on it and the Thrasher is usually seen in this area. WE were also told that a Red-bellied Woodpecker and Brown Creeper were seen in the boardwalk area before we got there. There are many Tree Sparrows and other expected birds here as well and they will keep you busy checking them out.
