Little Gull (Larus minutus) Viewing Days at Oshawa Second Marsh 23, 24 and 25 April 2004 Join CWS ornithologist Dr. Chip Weseloh, and colleagues Jim Richards, Richard Joos and Tyler Hoar at Oshawa Second Marsh for a rare opportunity to view migrating Little Gulls at their largest known spring staging area in North America. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy: - viewing up to 100 Little Gulls, one of North America's rarest birds (outside of Ontario) - bird watching at Oshawa Second Marsh, a Provincially Significant Wetland - Little Gull handout Where and When Meet at the Oshawa Second Marsh Observation Viewing Tower (directions below) Dates: 23, 24 and 25 April 2004 Time: Sunrise to 10:00 a.m. >From Hwy 401 on the east side of Oshawa, take Exit 419 (Farwell St.) south to Colonel Sam Dr., turn left. Take it nearly to its end; turn right into the General Motors parking lot just before the GM Canada Head Office building. Go straight ahead to the far side of the parking lot.
