In my excitement to inform ONTBIRDS members about the spectacular showing of 
Red-necked Grebes, I omitted a 0 in the number I stated. It should have been 
2000 or more Grebes, with more arriving in flocks of twenty or so all the time 
we were there. My apologies.

Thanks to the Banders at the Long Point Bird Observatory for showing us four
White Winged Crossbills, in a White Spruce tree, at the Old Cut Banding
Station. Adult male, adult female, and two first year males were observed
for a long time.
