Although only about 80 raptors were seen today by Niagara Peninsula Hawkwatch counters at Beamer CA in Grimsby, ON, they included 10 species. About 30 each of Sharp-shinned Hawk and Broad-winged Hawk made up most of the total, with a single adult Peregrine Falcon and a pair of Osprey being the highlights. A Northern Goshawk and an unidentified eagle were reported offsite. Non-raptor highlight was a Tufted Titmouse, the first in about five years at Beamer.
