Sorry for the late posting, computer bounce back and conference call
commitment.

Of note today is a Whipoorwill sitting on a log on the east side of Shell
Park in Oakville. From the main parking lot, cross the first yellow bridge
and turn left up the road which leads along the east side of the creek. On
the left side of the creek about 1/3 of the way up to the change room is
placed a Harvey's cup at which I have placed a stick arrow leading into the
woodlot. If you look into the woodlot you will see an overturned black
flower pot. If you go into where this flowerpot is rotate yourself to the
right and face north. The bird is sitting on a dead tree which leans to the
left about 15 feet in from there.

Because it is close please only go in there a couple people at a time as to
not disturb it so that others will be able to enjoy.

The bird was found by a local birder, Andrew Don.

Directions to Shell Park:

Shell Park is located east of Great Lakes Blvd and west of Bronte Road on
Lakeshore Drive in Oakville.

Cheers,
Cheryl
