Project runs from 20 August through 31 October 2004. Applicants must have experience with bird capture, handling, and banding techniques, preferably involving raptors. Applicants must be in good physical condition, be able to endure long hours in the field and variable weather, and must be able to work well in a team environment. Project is located in a high-elevation remote area, experiences highly variable weather, and requires camping on site. All crewmembers must supply their own camping gear and be able to transport their gear to the site by backpack. Banders will work as volunteers receiving a non-taxable daily per diem of $30/day plus food and a $150 travel stipend.
