A single Great Egret was in the centre of Rattray marsh about 10 this morning. Nothing else of interest around.
Easiest way in to the marsh area is to exit south from Lakeshore Rd. in Mississauga at Bexhill (between Mississauga Rd. and Clarkson Rd.). Drive to the end of the street, and walk down the hill. Either continue on straight ahead to a raised look out or walk to the left which skirts the edge of the marsh and eventually takes you to the lake.
