Townsend Sewage Lagoons were productive as expected and yielded the
following single sightings -Ruddy Turnstone, Baird's Sandpiper and
Sanderling. All were molting adults; all except the Sanderling were in the
first lagoon as you walk in from the concession road. The Sanderling was in
the south-east corner of the north-east lagoon.
Numbers of Stilt Sandpiper were down from the previous week. Of the total
of 14 species seen, numbers were dominated by Lesser Yellowlegs and
Semipalmated Sandpiper.
