Temp cooler to only 19. Cloud cover heavier at times. TUV=5 (Very Good) Observations: Even though the TUV was very good today (i.e. thermals were good for soaring over the whole region)...the NW winds were just too kight I think to push a lot of birds down to the Lake Erie shoreline. Total of 150 birds today...nothing unusual. :) Predictions: Forecast is for SE winds possibly switching to S...worst winds possible for any kind of decent flight. Might just get a few Peregrines at the Cliff riding the updraft created by such southerly winds. WE NEED A GOOD STRONG SW WIND...AFTER ALL IT'S PEREGRINE TIME!! Keep your fingers crossed. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Dave Brown ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch information may be found at: http://www.ezlink.on.ca/~thebrowns/HawkCliff/index.htm Hawk Cliff Hawkwatch: Oldest Hawkwatch in Ontario - since 1931 - located just east of Port Stanley on the cliff overlooking Lake Erie
