Winds were generally moderate from the east-southeast. Observations: A good lift off of vultures took place from the general area that they were seen to put down in north of the count area yesterday. Those numbers were augmented by a steady flight of TVs for the remainder of the day. The rest of the hawk flight was dominated by the largest Red-tail movement so far this fall and included an adult Kriders. The strong Rough-leg flight also continued today and if these early numbers are any indication, the final tally for this species should be impressive. Also of note was the passage of half a dozen Monarchs. =======================================================================Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/
