Snow geese have shown up at Coyote Pond over the past ten days and this
aft there were three : one of them as large as a Canada and with
characteristics of the Greater snow goose - also a dark phase
Rough-legged hawk has been hanging out in the vicinity - yesterday a
juvenile Northern shrike showed on the Markham Bypass while today an
adult was seen at the corner of 9th Line and Hwy7 - also on the bypass
today - two kestrels shared a road sign for a very short while - Coyote
Pond lies on the North side of Hwy 7, 1km East of the 9th Line in
Markham - Stan long
