Snowy owl seen just offshore on Gull Island at 3 pm, Nov. 13, sitting
for at least one hour. Presumably same bird seen on Beach 1 flying low
over the first dune from the beach from north to south clutching prey
and landing in the dunes at 3 pm, Nov. 14.
Notes in the bird book at Presqu'ile indicate sightings of this bird on
Gull Island for a few days.
Presqu'ile Provincial Park is located immediately south of Brighton
Ontario. Follow the signs to the park. The park map is printed on the
back of the park newspaper available at the entrance.
