Dear OFO Members,
This message is for members planning to attend the OFO Niagara Gull trip on
Sunday 28 November 2004. Please note new directions to meeting place at Sir
Adam Beck Generating Station Overlook on the Niagara River Parkway. The
directions in the 2004 OFO Trips List and OFO News have changed because of
construction before the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge.
Directions: Take the QEW to Highway 405. Continue on 405 as if you were
going to the US via the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge, but you MUST exit at
STANLEY AVENUE, the first exit off the 405. Take Stanley Avenue south
(right), cross Portage Road (about a 1/2 km), and turn left on the next
road which is Whirlpool Road just before the railway tracks. This road T's
at the Niagara River Parkway, signposted River Road. Turn left and go north
to Adam Beck. Meeting time 9 a.m.
