South-Southeast 10-15 kpm. Mostly cloudy with a few brief sprinkles. Good visibility. Observations: The only raptor observed was the local immature Bald Eagle. Few passerines moving through included 5 Eastern Bluebirds, 16 Horned Larks, 27 Goldfinches. Local birds: Tree Sparrows, Northern Flicker, Downy Woodpecker, Belted Kingfisher, Ring-billed Gulls, Bonaparte's Gulls, Mallards, Blue-winged teal, American Black Ducks, Gadwalls, American Wigeons, Ruddy Ducks and American Coots in the marsh. Red-breasted Margansers, Common Loons, and Canvasback Ducks off the beach. Predictions: Overcast with SW winds to 40 kph veering to Westerlies in the late morning. Chance of a shower.
