OntbirdersThis afternoon, Gary Little and I saw ten Purple Sandpipers and a Dunlin on Sebastopol Island (adjacent to Gull Island). Non-hunting days (until December 20) are Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Access to Sebastopol requires hip waders and the awareness that strong winds and currents can make the crossing challenging.
