Just a clarification re the Great Gray Owl I saw at 2:30 on Monday. The bird
was an adult, female with very worn tail feathers- it seemed someone took
pinking shears to it as several mm of the right side of the tail were
missing.

The Great Gray Owl observed in Lydne Shores yesterday was a very fresh
looking bird and appeared to be younger. The light was not great at that
time of the day.
