Hi Ontbirders,

The 61st Carleton Place CBC was held December 27th on a cold, clear day. 45 species were seen (above average) and 4480 birds (below average).

New species for the count were Tufted Titmouse and Eastern Towhee, both of which have been coming to feeders.

There were record high counts of Wild Turkey (72) and Great Gray Owl (2).
