Yes, very good advise to remember when you locate a stressed bird. We need
to use some commen sense here as the birds in some locations will land right
next to you, and these birds are not in distress and are oblivious to
people. Just because it is an unusuall visiter here does not mean that it
is stressed, these birds are well fed (at least the ones I have been
observing at Thicksons woods). People that have been to Thickson Woods and
walked the paveway can attest to that as the owls often perched right beside
you
