FolksI find that sightings like birds flock together. Having seen our first Wild Turkeys on a Stratford Christmas Bird count only a few weeks ago, returning from a Stratford Field Naturalists Feeder Watch near Staffa in Huron County, I saw 29 Wild Turkeys luxuriating in a farm field. I felt like the Count from Sesame Street . . . one turkey, two turkeys, three turkeys. They were on the south side of road 20 about 2 km. east of Staffa.
