Groundhog day -sunny, then slight overcast skies--what's that mean!!!

Between 0745 and 1000 there were 3 Great Grays in the vicinity, but lately
they may not show themselves after that time in the AM.
A Barred Owl sat in the open in a tree near the north pathway entrance.
A Red-bellied Woodpecker (probably the female sometimes spotted in Lynde
Shores woodlot) vied with 2 Downy and 3 Hairy Woodpeckers for feeding rights
at the road-overhanging suet feeder. All 3 species called raucously for a
few minutes. I did NOT see the Pileateds today--they had been visible for 4
successive days.

>From the north path platform a Great Horned Owl was seen perched at the
north end of the wetlands. In the vicinity of the platform there were
several Song Sparrows, 2 Swamp Sparrows, many Am.Tree Sparrows, Juncos, and
a White-throated Sparrow came to feed briefly once.
