At about noon today, a friend and I saw an immature bald eagle (missing
quite a few flight feathers) at Humber Bay Park East. Initially we saw it
in flight, near the northeastern part of the park, being harassed by two
greater black-backed gulls. It then landed in a tree, sat there awhile,
and then flew towards the west side of the park. As we left the park, it
was sitting on the ice in the bay between Humber Bay Park East and Humber
Bay Park West.
Humber Bay Park East is located just south of Lakeshore Blvd. West at Park
Lawn Rd. in Toronto (Etobicoke).
