I'm not sure what your protocal is in Canada but I would suggest you call your division of wildife as quickly as possible.

Subject: [Ontbirds]Dead Blujays

Just over a week ago we found a dead Bluejay under our feeder at home. The
bird must have died very suddenly as there were still seeds in the bill.A
second Bluejay has died at the school were I work and a third bird appears
ill and is spending large amounts of time sleeping near the feeders. This
bluejay when active often perches on window ledges and pecks at the window
.Odd, the bird is also seemingly tame.
Has anyone else had this happen at there feeders? I have both dead birds in the freezer at present but I am not sure what to do with them. Any comments
or advice would be appreciated. Thankyou!
