Good day Ontbirds people,

Reported by Justin Peter (the man who 1st reported this bird back on Feb.
2)....The TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE is still present in the Rothwell Heights
neighbourhood, most recently seen on Coxford St. just west of Rothwell Dr.
at 3:30 PM on Thursday Feb. 24. It was evidently very near the road in a
Staghorn Sumac, with Common Buckthorn shrubs also close by. Again, please
DO NOT block the very small and narrow streets in this neighbourhood, and
please DO NOT ENTER PRIVATE PROPERTY.

DIRECTIONS:

>From west of Ottawa, take Hwy 417 east of the 417/174 split, and exit at
Blair Rd. From the east, take 174 to the Blair exit as well. Go north on
Blair, then right (east) on Ogilvie Rd. Cross Montreal Rd. and continue left
(north) on Ogilvie, then take the 1st left (west) onto Naskapi Dr. Follow
Naskapi which becomes Rothwell Dr. as you head northwest. Coxford St. is a
very short street that runs (if a street can "run"?) between Wick Cr. and
Wren Rd.

Good birding,
Chris Lewis
