This afternoon along Hwy/County Rd 34 between Hawkesbury and Lancaster 1000s
of geese were present.
All along the highway there were dozens of flocks of Canada and Snow Geese
moving between fields.

Areas of Concentrations:

1km south of hwy 417 (exit 27)
1000 Canada Geese in a flooded field

2km north of Laggan
8500 Canada Geese

Alexandria area
2500 Canada Geese and 50 Snow Geese

Just South of Green Valley in fields adjacent to the flooding Riviere
Beaudette ( majority of birds were on the east side of the road.)
6000 Snow Geese ( only 4 blue phase seen)
1200 Canada Geese
Small numbers of Northern Pintail, American Wigeon, Green-winged Teal and
Wood Ducks

Arlington Road intersection (approx 4km north of Lancaster)
2500 Canada Geese
400 Snow Geese

West of Lancaster north of Highway 401
300 Canada Geese
70 Snow Geese

Long Sault Area
300 Canada Geese
2 Wild Turkeys along the Long Sault Parkway
