Hello Everyone!

I'm very pleased to let you know about a special event coming up at Point
Pelee National Park in May. In addition to the Festival of Birds (which
runs from April 30 - May 29), we are holding a fundraising dinner to
support the "Keep the Songs Alive" campaign. Our guest speaker for the
event is Chris Earley, author of "Warblers of Point Pelee", "Sparrows of
Point Pelee", "Hawks and Owls of the Great Lakes and Eastern North America"
and the newly publised "Waterfowl of the Great Lakes and Eastern North
America". Chris is an accomplished interpreter, based at the Arboretum in
Guelph and will be giving an interesting and entertaining talk on "Hawks
and Owls". I would like to extend an invitation to attend the event. Here
are the details:

Date: Friday, May 13, 2005
            Cocktails - 5:30 pm
            Dinner - 6:00 pm

Location: Leamington Lebanese Club, Hwy 77, Leamington

Cost: $40/person (includes wine with dinner, a cash bar will be
available), a $20 tax receipt will be issued

Dress: Casual - where your birding duds - we're a laid back
group!

Bucket Raffles, door prizes and silent auction items will also be hand.
Chris will also be available to sign books for anyone interested. For more
information, or to order tickets, please contact the Friends of Point Pelee
at 519-326-6173 or [EMAIL PROTECTED] .

Hope to see you there.
