This will be my last post here, I am tired of everyone looking at my camera and instantly deciding I should not know what is around and about. Well not everyone but a vast majority anyway. Judge others by their actions not lump them into a group with the worst of the type. As for birds, in Brampton today I took a drive around some back lanes, stopping here and there to see what is about. Savannah Sparrows have returned and were found in a field with some Horned Larks, Phoebe was found along with Fox Sparrow, Song Sparrow and a pair of Louisiana Waterthrush. Don't ask me where the Waterthrush are since I hope they stay and breed in the location they are at, that would make two locations for them breeding in and around my area and hopefully more if I can locate them. This is a little late of a post for the weekend but I thought some might like to know that while birding Hillmans Marsh on saturday I found Greater Yellowlegs, Meadowlarks and Lapland Longspurs. Good birding to all Ian Stanley Bramalea Ontario From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Apr 11 18:56:33 2005 Return-Path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Delivered-To: [email protected] Received: from mx2.magma.ca (mx2.magma.ca [206.191.0.250]) by king.hwcn.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 20B2D64529 for <[email protected]>; Mon, 11 Apr 2005 18:56:32 -0400 (EDT) Received: from mail2.magma.ca (mail2.magma.ca [206.191.0.214]) by mx2.magma.ca (8.13.0/8.13.0) with ESMTP id j3BN6jKP009875 for <[email protected]>; Mon, 11 Apr 2005 19:06:46 -0400 Received: from [64.26.165.249] (ottawa-dial-64-26-165-249.d-ip.magma.ca [64.26.165.249]) by mail2.magma.ca (8.13.0/8.13.0) with ESMTP id j3BN6hth012586 for <[email protected]>; Mon, 11 Apr 2005 19:06:45 -0400 Mime-Version: 1.0 (Apple Message framework v619.2) Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; format=flowed To: Ontbirds <[email protected]> From: Eve Ticknor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Mon, 11 Apr 2005 19:08:42 -0400 X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.619.2) Subject: [Ontbirds]Ottawa Falcons Brooding! Our resident falcon, Horizon, is brooding on the west side of the Crowne Plaza Hotel! She is between the 2nd and 3rd column from the north end. She is most likely been there since Friday or Saturday. The Crowne Plaza Hotel is on Lyon St between Albert and Queen Sts, west of Bank St in downtown Ottawa. Cheers, Eve Eve Ticknor Coordinator OFNC Falcon Watch 38-9 Gillespie Cres.
