Good afternoon all
Just got back from the Toronto Islands and this morning at approx. 9am I
found a Piping Plover on the beach at Hanlans Point on the Islands couldn't
report it until now as I did not take any spare change with me to make any
phone calls and everything is still closed over there thus no place to get
change. That's my story and I am going to stick with it.
The bird was on the beach behind the airfield with Killdeers and Gulls and
was seen for 10 minutes before I moved on.
Directions to the bird.
After disembarking from the Hanlans Point ferry walk south to the very end
of the airport fence and turn right and walk west to the beach. The bird was
just to the right of the end of the trail and right at waters edge.
