25 American Avocets and 12 Willets were still on Van Wagners Beach, Hamilton
at 8:00 P.M. as per previous reports. They flew in from the east from the
Hutches area in one large group and landed to rest and feed in front of the
Go Cart place on the beach.
Directions: Exit at Centenial Parkway (highway 20) at Hamilton and go north;
turn west (left) at the end of the parkway and follow this road around the
curves and park at Hutch's restaraunt. Follow the beach to see the birds/
