The NEOTROPIC CORMORANT spent most of the day in Wheatley Harbour and was still hanging around until approximately 17:30 this evening until flying straight down the chanel south over the lake. Chimney swifts have also returned to Wheatley and Turkey Vulture are roosting in the Pines A White rumped sandpiper and blue winged teals were present in the marsh by the water tower along with Great Egrets, Great Blue Herons and a single green heron. Wheatley is directly south of Tilbury on county rd 1 Follow 1 south to the lake and look for the Birders.
