Hi Fellow Birders, After spending about three hours at the spot where the Worm-eating Warbler was found earlier this morning we had our chance to have a brief look of the bird at eye level, very close range. First two Warbling Vireos showed up and shortly after it was followed by the WORM-EATING WARBLER.
Other warblers seen at the same location: Magnolia Warbler, Cape May Warbler 4 male 1 female Yellow Warbler Yellow-rumped Warbler Nashville Warbler Black-and-white Warbler Black-throated Blue Warbler Back-throated Green Warbler Chestnut-sided Warbler American Redstart M F Northern Parula M Palm Warbler Blue-winged Warbler ( Heard only) Also seen one SWAINSON'S THRUSH. Have a good luck finding them: Karl & Marienna Egressy www.kegressy.com Direction as per Specific Directions for the Worm-Eating Warbler: It was located on the east side of the fishing pond, near to a foot bridge. There was a flowering shrub and many Warblers checked it out including the WORM-EATING WARBLER. (All the Cape May Warblers were seen in the same flowering shrub as well.)
