As I have not seen an update for Hillman Marsh (shorebird habitat) for today, I will give my version... Today, at about 3:00pm, along with quite a few other birders had the pleasure of an up close female RedNecked Phalarope in beautiful breeding plumage. Also present but farther back in the shorebird habitat were 5 Wilson's Phalaropes, both males and females. These were in the company of Lesser Yellowlegs. Also present with the numerous Forster's Terns were at least two LITTLE GULLS and a single BLACK TERN. The single American White Pelican was also out in the marsh at Hillmans.

Hillmans is north-east of Pelee Park...

Good Birding,

Rick Thornton
