Hi,

Today morning during our regular walk at Guelph Lake, we heard and saw an
UPLAND SANDPIPER
in the field where the Osprey has its nest. ( Close to the entrance Building)
I was very much surprised because nobody has ever mentioned any Upland Sandpiper
in connection with Guelph Lake. But this has been an unusual year.
I will follow up on this soon and will report if I see it again.
By the way, the Osprey chicks are quite visible in the nest now from the road.

Good Luck,
Karl & Marienna Egressy

Direction to Guelph Lake

Exit HW 401 at exit # 299. Drive towards Guelph on HW 46.
Take HW 34 to the right (East). Continue towards Victoria Road. Take a left
turn onto Victoria Road.
Progress on Victoria Road through the city until you get to Conservation Road.
Take a right turn onto Conservation Road and progress to the entrance building.
The field with the Osprey nest platform and the sighting of Upland Sandpiper was
right after passed the entrance building. (Second road down towards the Lake.)
