With the number of Great Egrets being reported, I'd just like to remind birders to be on the watch for individuals with a single coloured leg band on the left leg (aluminum on the right). The colour band will have an letter-number code; please try to see/record that. We have banded over 100 yg each of the last two years at Nottawasga Island near Collingwood on the south end of Georgian Bay.
