Ontbirders
This morning in diminishing rain along the Presqu'ile beach, I saw 187 (at least) White-rumped Sandpipers and almost as many Pectoral Sandpipers. Birds were on the move but tended to congregate in the beach 4 and Owen Point regions. A dozen or so other shorebird species were in the same areas. And now for something bigger?
The way to Presqu'ile is well-signed south of Brighton.
