Skies were generally overcast with occasional sunny breaks. Winds were moderate to fairly strong quartering between north-northwest and north-northeast. Raptor Observations: The day marked the first large movement of Turkey Vultures along with good numbers and variety of other species. The flight overall was steady from mid morning until the end of the day, although with the persistent overcast the movement was sometimes spotty during portions of the day.
