An adult Kumlien's Iceland Gull
http://www.jeaniron.ca/Gulls/htmgulls/kumliensmarkham.htm was among the
thousands of gulls in Markham today, Monday 10 October 2005, a sign that
the gull season is starting. Five or six adult Lesser Black-backed Gulls
are also in the area. To view the gulls, check the construction site ponds
on the east side of Markham Bypass north of Highway 7 to 16th Avenue, and
along 16th Avenue from Markham Bypass to 9th Line in Markham.
