Weather: Overcast with a brief period of light drizzle in the morning. Moderate N-NNE winds. Temperature in the mid teens. Better visibility and higher cloud ceiling than yesterday. Raptor Observations: Favourable North winds and good visiblilty made for a good movement of raptors today. Still awaiting our first Golden Eagle but all the other regular migrants showed up today. Non-raptor Observations: 2600 Blue Jays were counted. Yellow-rumped Warblers, Sora rail, Black-crowned Night Heron, Goldfinches, Greater Yellowlegs and thousands of ducks were evident. Predictions: Another cloudy day with the chance of some drizzle. Winds will be moderate and out of the Northeast.
