Winds were light and variable early becoming moderate southeast by mid morning. Visibility was reduced in haze and fog, becoming even more limited once the winds kicked up bringing moisture in off the lake. Raptor Observations: The flight was very light and much of it to the north. However even dull days can have their highlights if you wait long enough for them. At 1:15 EST there was the very unexpected sighting of a Prairie Falcon, probably an immature female! This follows on the heals of one seen the 9th at Hawk Cliff in Ontario, most likely the same bird.
