Hi Everyone
Today, October 29, 2005 I observed an adult Greater White-fronted Goose
off Andrew Haydon Park at 8:15am. There were 100's of Canada Geese, 1 Black
Scoter, 1 Long-tailed Duck, 3 Horned & 2 Red-necked Grebe. Also present was
1 first winter Iceland Gull and a 1st winter Lesser Black-backed Gull.
Near the corner of Moodie Drive and Barnsdale Road was a mixed flock of
Snow Bunting, Horned Lark, American Pipit and 3 Lapland Longspur. Later in
the day, I observed 1 Red-throated Loon and 4 Red-headed Woodpeckers at
Constance Bay. The Carolina Wren is still actively singing in the ravine
behind my house.
