Weather: A cold day with temperatures with the wind chill at minus seven degrees Celsius. The morning began with a snow flurries then sun and cloud in the late morning. Raptor Observations: Surprisingly, a few raptors passed by the tower at eye level. Non-raptor Observations: A few flocks of finches, Horned Larks, and a flock of crows were seen. The Mallards had moved back into the area near the tower following the mild weather. Four Hooded Mergansers were noted in the trout pond. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Betty Learmouth ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Holiday Beach Migration Observatory information may be found at: http://hbmo.org/
