Hi all, This afternoon, Dec 10, 2005, there was large flock (100+) of BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS near the Horlings Garden Centre on the Lakefield Rd (old Hwy 28) half-way between Peterborough and Lakefield.
Old Hwy 28 runs from Water St. in Peterborough (near Trent University) north to Lakefield. The Horlings Garden Centre is slightly north of the turn-off to Buckhorn (Buckhorn Rd aka Old Hwy 507). Good birding, Colin Jones Lakefield, ON
