This morning, Dec 22. there was a beautiful bald eagle flying back
and forth for about 15 minutes over the lake close offshore by my
building. It eventually flew eastnover the lake. I live at 2160
Lakeshore Rd. in Burlington. It is between Brant St and Guelph line
where Rambo Creek flows into the lake, just west of the junction of
Old Lakeshore Rd. and Lakeshore Rd.

My father, Gerald, and I did a little driving east of Ottawa today and turned up
one SNOWY OWL and the NORTHERN HAWK OWL. I had previously given up on the hawk
owl there but we found it in a tree close to the road at the corner of Innes
Rd and O'Toole Rd. The snowy was located in the same field. This location is
just east of Frank Kenny Rd. It was too cloudy to get any photographs worth
posting.
15 SNOW BUNTINGS were present at the corner of O'Toole and French Hill Rd. 2
ROUGH-LEGGED HAWKS, 1 RED-TAILED HAWK, and 1 NORTHERN SHRIKE were seen along
the length of sarsfield Rd.
