The adult male Yellow-headed Blackbird reported previously at #23 Manitou Street in the community of Forest Park, south of Limoges is still there as of 11:30 this morning. Bruce Di Labio and I had very good views from the street.
A Boreal Chickadee is also there, although it was only heard and not seen. Directions from Ottawa: East on Hwy 417 to Exit #79 (Hwy #5, Limoges Road). Turn right (south) on Limoges Road and go to County Road 3 (there is a Petro Canada Station at this corner). Turn left (east) on CR-3 and go about 1.5K to Manitou Street. Turn right and park anywhere near #23 The blackbird was in association with a flock of European Starlings and was flying from tree to tree but was always easily seen from the road.
