Hi Everyone
A beautiful day for birdng in the Ottawa area. This afternoon saw 1 male
Barrow's Goldeneye, 1 male Bufflehead, 3 Glaucous, 1 Iceland and 50+ Great
Black-backed Gulls at Remic Rapids near the Champlain Bridge. Further west
along the parkway, an immature Peregrine was harrassing a flock of Mallards
off the Deschenes Lookout.
There are still at least 2 Red-headed Woodpeckers feeding in the old
burn site at Constance Bay. While watching the woodpeckers a flock of 100+
Bohemian Waxwings flew over head.
good birding
