Today Kenny and I had 5 Turkey Vultures near the town of Crosshill,
north-west of Waterloo, they were moving north-westerly fairly slowly. This
follows a report of 2 Turkey Vultures over Fisher Hallman and University
Roads in Waterloo about 2 weeks ago by my sister, Gill.

The feeders at our house in Heidelberg have had about 12 Common Redpolls for
the past week, yesterday and today up to 30 have been seen, including at
least 1 Hoary Redpoll. We have also had an "orange variant" House Finch for
most of the winter.

Directions: From the 401 exit towards Kitchener at Hwy 8, follow this until
you reach Hwy 85, and follow this north to the second King Street exit.
Travel on King Street towards St. Jacobs until you reach Lobsinger Line and
turn left. Lobsinger Line goes straight through Heidelberg, our house is on
the west side of town on Arthur Rd (the second road on the right), we are
number 70, the second house on the left, with two finch feeders out front.
To reach the Turkey Vultures go through Heidelberg and St. Clements and turn
left on Hackbart Rd. They were initially right over the intersection of
Hackbart and Hessen Strasse.

Good Birding,
