A female snowy owl was seen perched atop a hydro pole at 4:00 pm on Sunday February 12. She stayed on the pole until she was scared off by a passing snowmobile. She then flew across the road in a southwesterly direction and landed on a fencepost approximately 300 m from Wellington County Road 8 road.
